Disconnection Policy

Disconnection and early departure from a game/match and general timeout policy

Except as otherwise expressly stated in writing by Blackjack.com, the following terms and conditions set forth the rules and procedures that govern all Players rights in the event of disconnection or early departure from a game or tournament match or failure to indicate an action before the time limit expires:

  1. Disconnect Policy is a procedure implemented to protect players in the event that their internet connection is inadvertently lost while involved in a game or match. If a player does become disconnected or leave a game or match early or fail to indicate an action in good time before the expiry of the time limit, that player will continue in the game/match with his hands played according to the policy below.
  2. Players MUST accept the risk of disconnection. Disconnections can and do occur. (Log back on and continue play as quickly as possible). To limit potential disconnection difficulties, please consult with your ISP as to what measures can be initiated to help reduce this risk. At no time will Blackjack.com assume responsibility for disconnected players regardless of cause.
  3. If a Player is disconnected during a multiplayer game or match or he fails to indicate an action in good time before the expiry of a time limit, the software will take over the player's gameplay and continue to bet the minimum bet using Blackjack.com official basic strategy until one of the following occurs.

    In Multiplayer against the house

    • The Player logs back in
    • The current hand is finished

    In Matchplay or Tournamant play

    • The outcome of the game or match is decided
    • The player runs out of chips
    • The player logs back in

  4. Blackjack.com reserves the right to alter this policy and render final decisions on all matters herein at its sole discretion. Policy changes and relevant decisions will be communicated accordingly via Blackjack.com via electronic and/or written means.
